Day 1 - Thursday
Depart the US for Israel

Day 2 - Friday
Shalom and welcome to Israel
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport
Your driver will bring you to your hotel in Tel Aviv
Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 3 - Saturday
Enjoy optional Shabbat Services
Relax by the beach
In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of Tel Aviv highlights
Evening at leisure
Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 4 - Sunday
Drive north along the Mediterranean to Caesarea. Tour the Roman Theatre and the Crusader Fortress with its unique dry moat
Continue to Haifa to view the celebrated Bahai Gardens and the whole city from atop Mt. Carmel
Tour the Af-Al-Pi-Hen, a boat that brought "illegal" Jewish immigrants in pre-statehood days
Onward to Akko to explore the colorful marketplace and walk along the old harbor
Descend the cliffs to the magnificent grottos carved by the sea
Overnight: A Kibbutz in the Galilee

Day 5 - Monday
Drive to Zfat, city of mystical Judaism. Explore narrow alleyways lined with ancient synagogues and artists' galleries
Enjoy a jeep tour at the foot of the Golan Heights
Ascend the Golan and peer deep into Syria.
Pause to view the Hula Valley and talk about Eli Cohen, Israel's master spy.
Visit Tel Hai and lean about Joseph Trumpeldor
Overnight: a Kibbutz in the Galilee

Day 6 - Tuesday
Drive to Tiberias to visit the grave of the Rambam
Then explore Beit She'an (Scytopolis), Israel's largest archeological park
Pause at Beit Alpha to see the ancient mosaic floor from the Byzantine period
Relax by the Sachne springs
Head south along the Jordan Valley and ascend to Jerusalem
Pause at a vantage point to say Shehehianu upon entry to the city
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 7 - Wednesday
Visit the Tomb of King David atop Mt. Zion
Enter the Old City and explore the Cardo, an ancient shopping road where you can still shop today. Continue to the Davidson Center and the Southern Wall Steps.
Enjoy a spiritual visit to the Western Wall
Tour the Western Wall Tunnels stretching under the Old City (subject to confirmation)
Walk through the colorful Shuk (bazaar) to the Jaffa Gate and David's Tower
And the Citadel Museum
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 8 - Thursday
Explore the Mea Shearim Jerusalem neighborhood and learn about the ultra-orthodox life style
View the Knesset (Israel's Parliament) and the Menorah
Onward to the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls, housed in the dramatic Shrine of the Book and the model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple Period.
Visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial
Tour Mt. Herzl to the graves of Zionist luminaries like Herzl, Rabin and Golda Meir
Visit t Ammunition Hill, a Jordanian stronghold overrun in the Six Day War
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 9 - Friday
Descend to the shores of the Dead Sea.
Pause at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found
Ascend Massada and tour Herod's palace/fortress and hear about the Jews who defied Rome here.
Enjoy lunch and a chance to swim (float) in the Dead Sea
Return to Jerusalem
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 10 - Saturday
Day at leisure in Jerusalem
Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 11 - Sunday
Depart for the US
